About Sara

Sara Schmidt is a multidisciplinary artist and designer with over 25 years of experience in architecture, brand, and product design. She creates custom artwork and graphics for built environments—partnering with architects, designers, and brands to bring spaces to life in meaningful, visually rich ways.

Beyond the artwork itself, Sara plays a strategic role in shaping the creative potential of a space. She collaborates early in the design process to help clients think bigger—identifying opportunities for storytelling, integrating art and graphics into architecture, and planning for community or brand engagement. Whether mapping out installations in an airport or envisioning how an identity can come to life across a building, Sara brings a unique blend of creativity and strategic thinking to each project.

Her approach is rooted in craft, color, and narrative—blending research with intuition to create work that is immersive and emotionally resonant. With an MFA in Media Design from Art Center College of Design and a background in Interior Architecture from the University of Oregon, she brings a deep understanding of space, storytelling, and experience to her collaborations.

Sara works with clients across the U.S. and internationally on commissioned artworks, spatial concepts, and creative strategy.
