Sara Schmidt is an artist and multidisciplinary designer endlessly inspired by nature, color, materiality and discovering new places. Her work spans disciplines—from large scale experiential installations and architecturally-integrated artwork to painting, drawing, and print + pattern design. At the heart of it all is a desire to spread joy through her work and create timeless beauty for people.

Whether working with glass, tile, wood or beyond she is constantly exploring the power of color, materiality, balance and beauty.

Sara spent much of her childhood growing up in Asia, where exposure to different cultures and environments instilled a lifelong curiosity about the world, interest in other cultures, and a deep love of travel.

Her practice continues to be shaped by her life between Portland, Oregon, the California desert, and New York City.
